Established for over 40 years, Frankston and Peninsula Lapidary Club is located in the grounds of McClelland Gallery, 390 McClelland Drive, Langwarrin. Melways ref 103 F3.
Membership
Are you looking to contribute your time and skills to a group of like minded people? Become a member of our club and participate in functions and help others to learn and contribute.
Adult membership is open to anyone over the age of 16. An initial joining fee and an annual membership fee apply. Junior membership for those aged 12 - 16 is available, with parental supervision.
Equipment
Our clubroom is home to a variety of equipment for gem cutting, faceting, polishing, silversmithing, etc.
Activities
The club has active field trip organisers and skilled and motivated instructors to make your time with the club enjoyable and productive
Minerals
We have a range of minerals and specimens on display in our clubroom
Classes
Classes are run on a regular basis for active members (subject to a waiting list). The following courses are available:
- faceting
- cabochon cutting
- opal carving
- chain weaving
- silversmithing
- enamelling

Saturday 10:00 am until 4:30 pm
Wednesday 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm
